About the team:
The Smart Grid Technology Lab’s research focuses on Power electronics, Energy Management Systems and other Smart Grid Technologies, applying the latest technology to the digital power industry. The lab has become a research organization with many significant industry achievements.
About the job:
Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify and formulate power system requirements, especially with increased injection of power electronic based energy generation such as renewable energies
Support in technology roadmap development for next generation microgrid solutions/products
Investigation on the state-of-the-art distributed power systems and identify the technical trends of the grid modernization
Bring excellent relationship management skills that will enhance and build upon existing relationships with industry partners and academic institutions
About the ideal candidate:
You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in the field of electrical engineering or with similar backgrounds
Broad knowledge and experience with the latest technologies, especially in the areas of power systems, power electronics, microgrids, distributed renewable resources, etc.
Advanced relationship management skills and highly effective communication skills
Proven experience with new technology development initiatives and innovations in the power system domain with a track record of publications in reputed journals and conferences
