Job summary

Niagara College is inviting applications for a temporary part-time Research Operations Assistant in the Research and Innovation Division. The starting wage is $25.94/hour for up to 24 hours per week, with additional hours possible during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a two‑year diploma in any field.
• Minimum of three years experience with records management, funder reporting, and research administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint; familiarity with policies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs data entry for divisional budgets per Niagara College and funder requirements.
• Assists with processes for financial management and invoicing for the division.
• Tracks accounts payable/receivable and supports compliance and data management activities.
• Supports training on institutional and funding compliance regulations.
• Oversees daily research data management and security strategies as required.
