Job description

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Cytodiagnostics Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team in Calgary, AB. The role requires independent judgment, working under general directions, and collaboration as part of our development team in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews and data collection
• Assist in designing research studies and experiments
• Develop and optimize methods and protocols for detecting various antigens in ELISA and other immunoassays
• Maintain high-quality standards during experimental processes and record keeping
• Collaborate with the research team on project planning and implementation
• Ensure compliance with research protocols and ethics

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in cell biology, biochemistry, biomedical sciences, or a related field. Prior hands-on experience with ELISA and/or Lateral Flow Assays is required.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Self-motivated and independent with project-driving capabilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience in writing/reviewing SOPs and study reports
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Industry experience and familiarity with ISO environments are assets
