Laboratory Technician C - Temporary at AGAT Laboratories is a job opening located in Calgary, AB T2E 6V6, Canada. The position is suitable for candidates with a Bachelor Degree and is classified as Entry Level. The role is open until June 8, 2025.

Job Responsibilities:

Join AGAT Laboratories and contribute to a dynamic team focused on innovation and scientific progress. As a Laboratory Technician in our Water Lab, you will assist with basic laboratory activities under supervision. The position is based in Calgary, with an anticipated end date of June 1, 2026.

Key duties include:

• Performing sample preparation, reagent mixing, and calibration.
• Supporting lab operations such as cleaning and waste disposal.
• Operating instruments like ICP, performing titrations, and assisting with maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Conducting basic analyses and reporting results.
• Performing other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Chemistry or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Lab experience is advantageous; training will be provided.
• Experience with ICP and general lab skills is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work positively in a fast-paced team environment.
