The Clinical Trials Department at the Juravinski Cancer Centre is an internationally recognized oncology research program. Research areas include all phases of therapeutic, supportive care, and non-therapeutic studies. Clinical trials personnel are integral members of the multidisciplinary team, facilitating patient recruitment and participation in clinical research.
The Lab Research Assistant (LRA) performs laboratory tests and procedures under direct supervision with accuracy and efficiency. The LRA aligns with the mission, vision, values, and goals of Hamilton Health Sciences and the Clinical Trials Department (CTD). Responsibilities include maintaining competence in handling, processing, and storing specimens in accordance with research protocols and SOPs, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, and documenting equipment status.
