Job summary

University Health Network (UHN) invites applications for a part-time CT technologist within the Medical Imaging, Research Computed Tomography (CT) department at Toronto General Hospital. The role supports cutting-edge imaging research, clinical trials, and education initiatives.

Join a large academic imaging team that prioritizes patient care, image quality, and ongoing training. This position offers evening and weekend shifts with a 15-hour weekly schedule and a one-year temporary contract.

Qualifications

• Registration with the CMRITO is required.
• Recent General Imaging experience is preferred.
• Completion of a BCLS Level II: Basic Rescuer certification is required.
• Current CT experience within the last 5 years is needed.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT research procedures and digital quality assurance to support clinical trials.
• Communicates with team members and management personnel.
• Participates in professional development, teaching and educational activities, and mentoring.
• Reviews research protocols involving CT activities.
• Performs other related patient care responsibilities to facilitate optimal patient care.
• Follows hospital and department Research policies to improve technical quality.
