Job summary

Humber River Health, located in Toronto, is seeking a Registered Technologist, CT/Angio to join our Medical Imaging team. You will perform a wide range of CT and interventional procedures, prepare patients, and support radiologists with PACS reporting.

The role offers permanent and temporary options with 8-hour rotating shifts, on-call duties, and cross-site rotation at Wilson Site. CMRTITO registration is required; CAMRT registration and CT/IR certificates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
• Registration with the CAMRT preferred.
• CT and Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.
• Previous experience in CT and Interventional Radiology preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a group environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have good teamwork and customer service skills.
• Must be IV certified.
• Excellent attendance and discipline free record.
• Understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion principles is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform all CT and Interventional Radiology procedures as per department protocols or as directed by the Radiologist.
• Operate all equipment within the department, including CT scanner, Interventional system, and related rooms.
• Prepare and assess patients for CT or Interventional procedures, including contrast consent and resourcing Radiologist as needed.
• Complete exam process by image review and presenting to radiologists for reporting via PACS.
• Follow radiation safety practices to protect patients and staff.
