Under the supervision of Dr. Lori Brotto (Primary Supervisor) and Dr. Roberta Galizia (Study Coordinator), the Research Assistant will support Dr. Galizia with The Couples’ Desire Study and contribute to a range of research and project coordination activities. Responsibilities will include supporting participant communication, including sending questionnaires, distributing updated consent forms, and coordinating the collection of mailing addresses for compensation. This is the highest priority task followed by the other secondary items, as time permits. Secondary tasks include: data cleaning and preparation, supporting the dyadic couple sexual response model study, adapting manuscripts to meet specific journal submission requirements, and monitoring grant timelines and preparing required materials. Participant-related responsibilities will include distributing updated consent forms and coordinating the collection of mailing addresses for compensation.This part-time, hourly position provides a flexible work schedule. **Organizational Status** The Research Assistant will work under the supervision of Dr. Lori Brotto (Primary Supervisor) and Dr. Roberta Galizia (Study Coordinator). As needed, the Research Assistant will receive orientation and guidance from the supervisors on research procedures and on working within a randomized controlled study. In accordance with UBC’s hybrid work guidelines, this position offers a flexible work environment that includes both remote work and onsite work at the Gordon and Leslie Diamond Health Care Centre. **Work Performed** The Research Assistant will work with UBC Sexual Health Research (SHR), primarily supporting The Couples’ Desire Study.
