Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre’s Cognitive Brain Health Lab seeks a full-time Research Analyst to join Dr. Jennifer Rabin’s team.
You will manage large datasets, develop reproducible data workflows, and perform quality control and statistical analyses using R, Python, MATLAB, and Linux environments. You will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, contribute to publications, and help prepare analysis-ready datasets across menopause-related brain health studies.
The Cognitive Brain Health Lab at Sunnybrook Research Institute (SRI) is seeking an energetic and experienced individual for a full-time Research Analyst position under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Rabin. The successful candidate will join a diverse, multidisciplinary team of researchers in a dynamic and collegial environment and will work closely with collaborators in the Galea Lab at CAMH.
The candidate will primarily support studies focused on menopause and women’s brain health. A major component of the role will involve working with large research datasets, including data ingestion, processing, cleaning, harmonization, management, quality control, and statistical analysis. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong programming skills, including proficiency in R and/or Python and experience working in Linux/Unix computing environments.
Neuroimaging, other medical imaging, or computer science experience would be an additional asset. Later phases of the research will examine brain aging using structural MRI, including brain age measures, with the potential to also investigate resting-state functional connectivity.
