Shifts: Monday - Friday

Status: Temporary Full-Time

Job Summary

The Joint Department of Medical Imaging (JDMI) Research Office is the central point of contact for research-focused medical imaging services. The Research Office supports research endeavors of internal and external Principal Investigators. We are seeking an individual support the medical image data transfer for research studies. This position provides an opportunity for individuals to utilize their administrative and analytical skills in research activities. Training will be provided to the successful incumbent. Primary duties include:

  • Anonymization of medical images
  • Preparation of medical image transfer to study sponsors
  • Quality control and quality assurance of medical images for data transfer
  • Documentation for billing purposes
  • Supporting the office with administrative duties as required


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in health sciences or equivalent
  • Knowledge of medical imaging not required but an asset
  • Prior experience in research and clinical research environment preferred
  • Familiarity with privacy requirements in the context of Patient Health Information an asset
  • Ability to manage deadlines, deliverables, and to multi-task
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Windows, databases and applications
  • Client service oriented, with excellent communication skills. Must have the ability to effectively work in a diverse environment and appreciate that people with different opinions, backgrounds and characteristics bring richness to the challenge or situation at hand
