Job description

I recently graduated with an MSc from U of T's Institute of Medical Science, where I did my thesis on markers of health status and quality of life in patients with advanced chronic kidney disease. I am currently working as a clinical researcher at the Cardiac eHealth lab at Toronto General Hospital (https://www.cardiacehealth.uhnresearch.ca/), and I am a co-investigator on an intergenerational-trauma-based research project at U of T's Dalla Lana School of Public Health.

I have joined this community so that I can 1) learn more about the Tamil community around me, 2) connect with Tamil researchers, and 3) connect with individuals who may be interested in participating in my research study on the effects of intergenerational conflict in Tamil Canadians.

We are researching the emotional well-being and education of Sri Lankan or Eelam Tamils in Canada.
