Job summary

Glencore Canada is seeking a Planner – Mine Maintenance at Raglan Mine to coordinate maintenance scheduling for surface and underground equipment. The role requires strong planning skills and experience with CMMS/SAP, alongside a technical diploma and English proficiency.

Based at Raglan Mine Site, you will work a 14/14 rotation with long vacations, contributing to safe operations and efficient maintenance programs. Competitive benefits are offered in a remote northern setting.

Qualifications

• DEC in suitable technical field required.
• Minimum 5 years in planning and/or maintenance of mobile or fixed equipment.
• Experience with SAP/CMMS and MS Office; MS Project is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance for site equipment by identifying resources, materials, services and methods.
• Ensure availability of resources by identifying needs and following up on priority requirements.
• Maintain regular communication with internal and external clients involved in maintenance activities.
• Maintain maintenance data, including BOMs, maintenance plans and standard tasks.
• Ensure adherence to maintenance strategies, standards and procedures.

How You Contribute To Our World

Reporting to the Planning coordinator – Mine maintenance, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the planning of maintenance work for the site's mobile equipment fleet, as well as underground fixed equipment. Your primary duties will be:

• Process work requests and plan preventive and corrective maintenance activities by identifying the required resources, materials, services, and work methods.
• Ensure the availability of resources required for work execution by identifying material and service needs, initiating procurement requests, and following up on priority or urgent requirements.
• Maintain regular communication with internal and external clients involved in maintenance activities.
• Maintain maintenance data, including bills of materials (BOMs), maintenance plans, and standard job tasks.
• Ensure that planned and scheduled work complies with maintenance strategies, company prevention standards, environmental requirements, as well as appropriate work methods (MATs) and procedures.

Profile Required

• Hold a College Diploma (DEC) in Industrial Maintenance Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Have experience in industrial environments, including a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in planning and/or mobile or fixed equipment maintenance.
• Be familiar with planning tools such as SAP or other CMMS software, as well as the Microsoft Office suite. Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project would be considered an asset.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of English.
