Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a field-based mortgage financing professional to develop and maintain relationships with real estate intermediaries and clients in the Rouyn-Noranda area. You will prospect new business, analyze client needs, and craft financing offers while promoting insurance and cross-selling opportunities.

The role emphasizes travel to client sites, adherence to regulatory frameworks, and staying current with industry trends. A college diploma and multilingual capabilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• College diploma in a related field.
• Minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Intermediate knowledge in English due to duties/tools or interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients.
• Intermediate knowledge of Spanish or a third language due to duties/tools or interactions with partners, members and/or clients.
• Frequent travel may be required.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Available 7 days a week including evenings, with a flexible schedule.
