This role requires 5+ years of experience writing on investing or financial markets, plus fluency with real-time data sources and data visualization to illuminate stock moves.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Globe and Mail is hiring a reporter to lead our live markets coverage, delivering fast, authoritative and insightful updates that help investors navigate market moves throughout the trading day. This individual would be the principal writer for our daily markets blog, offering context and analysis to serve our highly engaged community of Globe Investor readers. This individual would be responsible for tailoring our coverage over time to reflect the interests of our audience, creating market coverage that is unique and stands out in a highly competitive area of coverage.

This position is based in the Toronto office and requires a minimum of two days a week in office.

RESPONSIBILITIES
