We seek a curious editor with solid news judgment, collaborative spirit, and an entrepreneurial approach. This Toronto-based role requires two days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

• At least three years experience in digital news media.
• Solid news judgment with understanding of markets and financial coverage.
• Strong headline writing and story editing skills.
• Familiarity with rich digital storytelling experiences.
• Clear communicator and excellent multitasker.
• Experience using audience analytics tools to understand trends.
• Experience using real-time financial data sources such as Bloomberg Terminal.
• Ability to use data visualization tools to create stock charts and graphics.

This role will edit and contribute to l ive blog entries, frequently write engaging headlines and generally ensure live markets coverage meets the needs of our highly engaged community of Globe Investor readers.
