The pay range for the co‑op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role.

Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).

Position Overview:

Our students are fully integrated within the Replenishment Optimization team and our co‑op program touches all aspects of the business including Forecasting, Inventory Optimization, Operations Management, Transportation, Logistics and Analytics.

You’ll make an impact by using data driven insights to improve our supply chain network and systems. We are big on growth and learning; we are looking for someone who shares this passion to help us solve problems facing the business.

Build a meaningful portfolio of projects to provide solutions for product forecasting, inventory optimization, operations management, and reporting.

What you’ll do:

Develop and maintain supply chain metric dashboards with integrated reporting and analytical tools, leverage modern functionality to deliver interactive, automated, and actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Provide analytical insight from large volumes of data to drive efficiency within the supply descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.

Capture to support the technical solutions (SOPs, job aids, flow charts, etc.), and act as a point of contact for reporting questions and issues.

What you’ll need:

• Post-secondary education in relatable field
• Must have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Must have strong digital literacy: Proven expertise of SQL, Python programing language, and web development skills (JavaScript and PHP).
• Skills in MS Office (including MS Access), Python-Flask, and Git workflow would be an asset.
• Experience working with large data sets, crafting robust reports.
