Sobeys Kingston is seeking a Grocery Clerk to perform the full range of duties in a fast-paced retail environment. You will deliver friendly service, help customers find products, and ensure accurate checkout and stock levels.

The role emphasizes food safety, inventory control, shelf presentation, and teamwork. You may train junior staff and assist with special orders while maintaining a clean, welcoming store for everyone.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives
• Order, receive, and merchandise stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures, as required
• Provide superior customer service to meet customer needs
• Increase store sales by actively promoting featured products
• Perform back shop and retail floor maintenance, keeping work area clean and presentable as per Company requirements
• Prep Customer orders, as required
• Process department shrink, as required
• Participate in the training of junior staff
• Other duties as required
