Job summary

Gypsum Management & Supply, Inc. (GMS) operating as Slegg Building Materials on Vancouver Island is seeking a Replenisher. The role restocks merchandise on the sales floor and adapts to rotating stock as new products arrive. This temporary position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with an hourly wage of $20.75 to $23.50.

The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, maintain displays, and support inside/outside operations while upholding safety and efficiency standards.

Qualifications

• Flexible and available to work evenings and weekends.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Perform repetitive lifting.
• Forklift/scissor lift experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Restock merchandise on the sales floor as needed.
• Assist in stocking incoming truck freight to the stock room.
• Put away and locate all incoming shipments.
• Maintain product displays on the selling floor.
• Work inside and outside the store environment.
• Assist with vendor resets.
• Keep product signage and pricing accurate.
• General housekeeping and facility maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Position Summary

The Replenisher is responsible for restocking merchandise on the sales floor, from rotating stock to merchandising new products as they arrive. This is a temporary position. The shifts are Monday - Friday and the wage range is $20.75 - $23.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
• Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as top priorities.
• Responsible for replenishment of merchandise on the sales floor
• Assist in the stocking of incoming truck freight to the stock room.
• Put away and locate all incoming shipments.
• Maintain product displays on selling floor.
• Position will be working inside and outside.
• Help with vendor resets.
• Assist in keeping product signage/pricing accurate.
• General housekeeping duties and facility maintenance
• Other duties as assigned by management.
