Job summary

ACX Windsor, part of a leading national collision repair organization, is seeking a Repair Technician to inspect, repair, and restore damaged vehicles to OEM standards. This role includes frame work, dent repair, refinishing, and performing repairs per OEM procedures.

As a licensed technician with knowledge of repair/refinishing processes, you will review damage reports, prepare estimates, perform quality repairs, and ensure proper completion.

Qualifications

  • Red Seal Certification is an asset.
  • Completion of related post-secondary program or training.
  • Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes.
  • Ability to use selected vendor materials efficiently and cost‑effectively.
  • I-CAR certification training would be considered an asset.
  • Must possess a valid driver''s license and a safe driving history.

Responsibilities

  • Review damage reports, prepare and review repair cost estimates and plan work to be performed.
  • Perform quality repairs on a variety of vehicles.
  • Mask and tape, prime and paint body surfaces using spray guns and motorized sanders.
  • Inspect repaired vehicles for proper completion of work, dimensional accuracy, and overall appearance of paint job.

Your area of focus.

The Repair Technician is responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles that have been damaged in accidents or collisions. This includes inspecting and evaluating damage, removing and replacing damaged parts, repairing dents, refinishing surfaces, and ensuring all repairs meet safety and quality standards. A licensed technician that is capable of doing frame work, big and small repairs and does everything using OEM procedures.
