Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee service delivery and customer interactions at our mine site operations. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the overall performance of the site, ensuring alignment with financial, operational, and safety objectives, while cultivating a healthy and productive work environment for all employees.
Job Description:
Administrative Supervision, Safety & Rental Process (40%)
- Responsible for the day-to-day leadership, recruitment, on boarding, coaching, mentoring, performance & development of the rental administration team.
- Responsible for monthly audits on rental contracts and reporting on non-conformances
- Manage, develop, and maintain clearly defined rental processes and documentation, including innovation from first call to delivery. Implement, and continuously improve effective processes on a timely basis
- Lead any new systems and/or rental enhancement projects, as requested
- Lead, demonstrate and champion a healthy and safe work environment ensuring that all safety standards, policies, procedures and compliance requirements are communicated, implemented and followed.
Fleet Management (40%)
- Assign needs and priorities of rental equipment to Branches for upcoming projects.
- Communicates on disputes, negotiating repairs, shop scheduling and estimated turnaround time
- Ensure service, initial and final quotes are auditable
- Support internal inter-branch relationships and collaboration
- Facilitates and executes seasonal equipment readiness
Financial Reporting (20%)
- Manage R&M costs on a monthly basis and accuracy of service invoices
- Ensure up to date and accurate billing is completed monthly.
- Manage and timely submission of project accruals to ensure our revenue and costs are within 10% each month.
- Resolve any customer issues including billing, quality, and delivery, ensuring service department is informed on all quality
- Offer leadership and continuous improvement in enhancing KPI performance
- Assist the management team with various financial function as required
- Conduct quarterly review of our external vendors against performance KPI’s
- Proactively support accounts payable team and external vendors in maintaining good standing. Review, investigate and resolve outstanding payable, non-received POs or discrepancies.

- Demonstrate progression on job knowledge and competencies of administration employees to perform rental administrative positions and provide necessary back up where required.
- Demonstrated leadership and engagement of assigned employees that are supported by developing and leading an effective team.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive & creative work environment and setting clear expectations that successfully contribute to effective and efficient work completion
- Achievement of operational and strategic targets and goals, customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Accurate and timely delivery of requested financial, business measures and service deliverables reporting tasks and /or reports, with reports, prepared ready for review.
Skills & Experience required:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience and strong knowledge in the Rental industry along with 3-5 years in leadership experience
- Post-secondary education in Trades - Electrical and Mechanical knowledge including certified Red Seal an asset
- Understanding of power generation, temperature control and compressed air product knowledge
- Proficient in MS Office applications and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of performance management principles, processes and the principles of high-performance leadership
- The desire to lead and manage people
- Demonstrated effective leadership, problem solving, and supervisory skills
- Strong communication skills to engage, motivate and lead employees
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills
- Ability to work in a high paced and stressful work environment with minimal supervision
