The Driving Force Group of Companies in Whitehorse is seeking a Rental Consultant to join our rentals team. You’ll greet customers, handle inquiries, manage reservations, generate quotes for short-term rentals, and finalize rental agreements with clear terms.

You’ll coordinate inspections, process returns, ensure vehicle readiness, and maintain open communication with clients. The role requires strong customer service, organization, and basic PC skills; a valid Yukon Class 5 license is preferred.

• Prepare vehicles for delivery, including driving, cleaning, and fueling as required.

We are currently looking for aRental Consultant to join our rentals team at Driving Force Fleet Solutions in our Whitehorse location.

What You'll Do:

• Warmly greets customers and handles phone calls, emails, and queries with professionalism and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional service throughout the rental process, from managing reservations, generating quotes for short-term rentals, finalizing rental agreements, processing payments, and completing necessary paperwork.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers, ensuring they are well-informed about rental terms and conditions before requesting signatures on all relevant documents.
• Conduct thorough walk-around inspections with customers, obtaining their authorization via signature.
• Perform daily checks on the drop box, processing rental returns, evaluating vehicle’s condition upon return, and offering recommendations for necessary maintenance if repairs are deemed necessary.
• Ensure vehicle availability and prepare rental units for delivery, including driving, cleaning, and fueling vehicles as needed.

What You Bring:

• 1 year's retail customer-service experience is preferred.
• Experience in the automotive or rental industry is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Strong computer skills and you know your way around Microsoft Office.
• You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking.
• Abstract acceptable to The Driving Force Group of Companies Driver and Vehicle Safety Program.
• Clear pre-employment security clearance.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task with keen attention to detail.
• A valid Class 5 Driver's License
