You will collaborate with design, content, and project management teams, maintain sites, troubleshoot issues, and ensure launches stay on schedule while following established coding standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years web development experience.
• Experience building WordPress sites with Elementor.
• Familiarity with responsive web design principles and modern web standards.
• Experience configuring WordPress plugins and themes.
• Understanding hosting environments, domains and DNS concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and propose practical solutions.

We're looking to expand our network of talented contractors and are seeking a Junior Web Developer to support website development projects on a project and retainer basis.

The Opportunity

As a Junior Web Developer, you'll work closely with our digital, design, and project management teams to build, maintain, and enhance websites for a diverse range of clients. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in WordPress development who enjoys turning designs into responsive, user-friendly websites.

The successful candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, comfortable working independently, and committed to delivering high-quality digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor and other commonly used WordPress tools.
• Convert approved designs and wireframes into responsive web pages.
• Configure website content, layouts, navigation structures, and page templates.
• Support website launches, updates, and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot website issues and resolve bugs across desktop and mobile devices.
• Optimize websites for performance, accessibility, and user experience.
• Collaborate with designers, strategists, content creators, and project managers to deliver projects on schedule.
• Follow established development standards, workflows, and documentation practices.

Working Relationship

This is a contractor position with flexible hours based on project requirements. Contractors may be engaged on individual projects, website support retainers, or ongoing development initiatives.
