Job summary

Luminultra in Fredericton, NB is seeking a Product Designer (UX/UI) to own the end-to-end user experience for Relay, the company's customer-facing software platform, and help shape its digital product ecosystem.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Software, Marketing and Client Experience to turn complex scientific workflows into intuitive designs, establish scalable design systems, and support customer-facing documentation and product labels.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in product design, UX/UI, interaction design, or a closely related field.
• Experience delivering shipped digital products.
• Strong product design, interaction design, and visual design skills, including information architecture, UX writing, typography, layout, hierarchy, and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end user experience for Relay, translating product goals and customer needs into intuitive workflows and deployment-ready designs.
• Partner closely with Product Management and Software teams throughout refinement, development, implementation and reviews to ensure design intent is translated into high-quality experiences.
• Establish and evolve scalable design systems, reusable UI components, interaction patterns, UX writing standards, and accessibility best practices.
• Lead customer onboarding and experience improvements by owning user flows and in-product guidance.
