Motion Recruitment Partners LLC in Montreal, Canada, is seeking a mobile product designer to own end-to-end design experiences. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Growth to craft mobile experiences used by 1M+ people, with strong ownership and fast feedback loops.

The role is full-time and based in-office in Montreal, focusing on UX research, design systems, and implementation readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing consumer mobile products or comparable shipped product.
• Strong UX fundamentals including hierarchy, accessibility, cognitive load, IA, and interaction design.
• Deep proficiency with Figma including Auto Layout, Components, Variables, and Prototyping.
• Hands-on experience conducting user interviews or usability testing.
• Proven experience taking products from concept through launch.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment with significant autonomy.

A rapidly growing, profitable consumer fitness technology company on a mission to help people build healthier, more powerful habits. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Growth to create mobile experiences used by 1M+ people. This is a full-time opportunity focused on Figma, mobile product design, UX research, and design systems.

Design is at the center of everything this team builds. You won’t just be handed requirements and asked to make screens, you’ll own design experiences end-to-end, diagnose existing UX problems, talk directly with users, and turn insights into products that ship. This is an ideal role for a designer who wants significant ownership, fast feedback loops, and the opportunity to directly influence product growth and retention.

This role is full time in office in Montreal.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience designing consumer mobile products, game interfaces, or a comparable shipped product
• Strong UX fundamentals, including hierarchy, accessibility, cognitive load, information architecture, and interaction design
• Deep proficiency with Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, Variables, and Prototyping
• Hands-on experience conducting user interviews or usability testing
• Proven experience taking products from concept through launch
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment with significant autonomy

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with design systems and reusable component libraries
• Illustration or visual design experience
• Experience in health, wellness, social, or gaming products
• Experience creating shareable or viral visual content
• Animation experience with Rive, After Effects, or Lottie
• Ability to implement designs using React Native / Expo, TypeScript, or Tailwind
• A sustained passion for a craft, sport, or community outside of work
