Job summary

Smoking Gun Interactive Inc. is seeking a UI Implementor to design, execute, and implement game user interface assets and animations for mobile & PC platforms.

The role involves collaborating with UX, designers and engineers to build screens and animations, delivering high fidelity UI layouts with the Lead Artist, and iterating to achieve pixel-perfect results. Remote-friendly and located in BC, preferably within the greater Vancouver area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing interactive interfaces in game engines or UI editors.
• At least one shipped game title and a strong online portfolio of 2D UI work.
• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Animation, Motion Graphics, or Illustration.
• Proficiency in Unity, Unreal or similar game engines.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement UI art and animations.
• Work with UX, designers, and engineers to set up screens and animations.
• Create UI layouts and high fidelity graphics with Lead Artist.
• Integrate assets and animations within platform tech specs in editor.
• Iterate quickly and address feedback to ensure a polished user experience.
• Assist the Lead Artist as needed.
