Job summary

Smoking Gun Interactive, a Keywords Studio, seeks a Senior or Principal UX Designer to lead game UX from concept to launch and live support. You will craft intuitive, player-focused experiences using research, prototyping, and collaboration to align player needs with product goals.

You will establish UX standards, work with UI artists, designers, and developers, and advocate for accessibility and clarity across touchpoints. Position is remote but requires Vancouver area residency.

Qualifications

6+ years of professional UX design experience in the game industry with shipped titles.
Hands-on UX development across games, platforms and input schemes (touch, controller, mouse/keyboard).
Strong portfolio demonstrating player flow optimization and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Lead the UX design process for one or more game titles from concept through launch and live support.
Bridge design goals to exceptional user experiences across disciplines.
Define standards for the art team to build assets within.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and player flows defining the game’s UX.
