Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare invites licensed nurses to join its Northern Staffing Program, delivering care in remote northern communities in Nunavut. This 4‑week assignment offers $47/hour plus a $22/hour non-taxed Northern Allowance, with travel arranged and an orientation provided.

You will visit homes and long‑term care facilities, monitor stable conditions through in‑home visits, and perform assessments for patients unable to attend clinics, while benefiting from Bayshore’s 24/7 support and ongoing

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a nursing license in good standing.
• Licensed Nurse registered in good standing and eligible to work.
• Willingness to obtain provincial/territorial license where you work.

The work you will do:

• Visit homes and long-term care facilities to provide treatment and support for residents as needed


• Monitor and manage stable conditions through regular in-home visits, offering daily or weekly follow-up care


• Conduct comprehensive in-home assessments and deliver ongoing care for patients who are unable to attend clinic appointments

Who You Are:

• You are a graduate from an accredited School of Nursingand havea nursing license through the governing body in good standing


• You are a licensed Nurse registered in good standing


• You have or are willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the provinces or territories you wish to work


• You meet the required work experience
