Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare invites qualified nurses to join its Northern Staffing Program for a 4‑week remote assignment in Nunavut, delivering home care in remote northern communities. You will perform in-home visits, monitor stable conditions, and conduct assessments to support residents who cannot attend clinics.

Compensation includes CAD 47/hour plus a CAD 22/hour northern allowance, with travel covered, comprehensive orientation, ongoing professional development, flexible schedules, and 24/7

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensed Nurse in good standing.
• Must hold a nursing license in provinces/territories where you work.

Responsibilities

• Visit homes and long-term care facilities to provide treatment and support for residents as needed.
• Monitor and manage stable conditions through regular in-home visits, offering daily or weekly follow-up care.
• Conduct comprehensive in-home assessments and deliver ongoing care for patients who are unable to attend clinic appointments.

Who You Are:

• You are a graduate from an accredited School of Nursingand havea nursing license through the governing body in good standing
• You are a licensed Nurse registered in good standing
• You have or are willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the provinces or territories you wish to work
• You meet the required work experience

A minimum of 3,000 hours within the past 5 years as a Home Care Nurse

OR 1,500 hours within the past 5 years providing care in remote, isolated, or semi-isolated communities as a Home Care Nurse.
