Job summary

Allianz Partners is seeking a motivated Consumer Sales Associate for a 6-month contract to handle inbound inquiries, educate clients on travel insurance options, provide quotes, and convert opportunities into sales while delivering an outstanding customer experience. This fully remote role is open to candidates residing in Canada, though applicants residing in Quebec will not be considered.

Qualifications

• Six to twelve months in a customer service or sales environment.
• Post-secondary education is highly preferred.
• Accident and Sickness license is an asset but not required.
• TICO certification or willingness to become certified.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and multi-task.
• Demonstrate superb customer service skills and a customer focus.
• French fluency is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone support for e-commerce and insurance clients.
• Identify customer needs and provide optimal product solutions to meet those needs.
• Educate clients on insurance options, provide quotes, and close sales.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services offered, learning about products, and staying up to date on new product or policy changes.
• Accurately enter pertinent customer data and make changes to existing policies.
• Able to close a sale by addressing customer concerns, demonstrating empathy, and consistently moving the customer towards commitment.
• Work effectively in an environment shaped by AI, ML, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our data governance, security and ethical standards.
