Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Technical Account Manager to help customers maximize the value of our Connected Operations Cloud. As a TAM, you will own technical engagements, troubleshoot across APIs, hardware, and software, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful deployments.

You’ll work remotely from Canada, with occasional travel to customer sites. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in TAM or related roles, strong communication, and a passion for AI and data-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technical account management or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Exceptional technical literacy across hardware, software, and AI technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Business acumen with a data-informed approach to customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Transform assigned customers’ support experience through technical proficiency and problem solving.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact between Samsara and assigned customers.
• Develop an understanding of customers’ operations to align Samsara solutions with their needs.
• Cultivate long-lasting relationships with technical stakeholders within customers’ organizations.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the system of engagement.
• Contribute to scaling and knowledge sharing within the TAM team.
• Occasional travel to customer sites; potential after-hours coverage.
• Demonstrate interest in AI, ML, and their business applications.
• Champion Samsara’s Operating Values and Principles.
