Qualifications

• Degree or certification in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
• Registered or eligible for registration with a relevant professional board.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in substance abuse counseling.
• Experience with telehealth platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to diagnose substance use disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling services addressing addiction and co-occurring mental health issues.
• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions on addiction, relapse prevention, and coping strategies.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring effective recovery pathways.
