Job summary

RRC Companies is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to help build future energy projects across the U.S. and Canada, with opportunities to work remotely or from any U.S. or Canadian office location.

The firm focuses on renewable energy and multi-disciplinary engineering for energy production. The role requires a BS/MS in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis and US P.E. registration, with 3–8 years of experience in structural design and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis.
• P.E. registration in the United States is required; willingness to obtain licensure in additional states.
• Experience in structural design and/or project management (3–8 years).
• Familiarity with US codes (IBC, ACI, ASCE 7, AISC).

Responsibilities

• Apply structural engineering principles and project management to complete tasks from start to finish.
• Review reinforced concrete design drawings and respond to client RFIs.
• Resolve construction issues with reinforced concrete to client satisfaction.
• Follow and improve company design procedures for wind turbine foundations.
