Job summary

Systems & Software, a division of Harris Computer, seeks a Senior Implementation Consultant to join the Professional Services team. This role delivers enQuesta CIS solutions, conducts requirements analysis, configuration, testing, training, and ongoing support for new and existing customers.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, CIS/billing system experience, JIRA/Confluence/Clarizen proficiency, and is prepared to travel up to 75% across Canada and the US.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of CIS, Utility Industry, S&S enQuesta, JIRA, Confluence, and Clarizen experience is a plus.
  • Experience with electric rate configuration and CIS billing systems.
  • MDM systems experience with billable read workflows is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with autonomous decision-making.
  • Ability to interpret requirements and participate in business process analysis sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Define and understand client requirements; translate to project deliverables.
  • Configure software using workflows and business rules for client processes.
  • Collaborate with data conversion teams for legacy data migration.
  • Train end users via remote and classroom sessions.
  • Suggest enhancements to Product Development based on client needs.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Data Conversion, QA, and Support teams.
  • Provide CIS expertise for project teams on implementations, upgrades, and quotes.
  • Lead discovery sessions and document current/future-state processes.
  • Assist data mapping and validation during conversions.
  • Draft and execute software testing per best practices and client requirements.
  • Create training materials and deliver user training.
  • Act as customer advocate and liaise with internal departments.
  • Support customers during testing, production deployment, and post-go-live.

Job description

Systems & Software, a division of Harris; is seeking a Sr Implementation Consultant who will join the Professional Services team.

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, team-oriented professional who provides outstanding customer service, has excellent deductive and analytical abilities, and thrives on delivering project milestones in a fast-paced environment.

Utilizing industry best practices, methodologies, and process controls, the Sr Implementation Consultant will be responsible for working with a project team to deliver enQuesta CIS solutions and associated value-added services to both new and existing customers. This includes performing business process requirements analysis and documentation as well as system configuration, testing, implementation, training, and support.

The Sr Implementation Consultant is customer-facing and plays a key role in effectively translating customer requirements into solution deliverables.

This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US. Travel is required as needed, approximately 75%. Candidates must hold a current, valid passport and be legally eligible to travel internationally. This includes either passport based visa exemption or possession of any required travel visas for entry into Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.

What Your Impact Will Be
  • Define and understand client business requirements; interpret and apply the information within the scope of the project.
  • Configure the software using workflow and business rules to allow clients to conduct their business processes.
  • Work with data conversion specialists to achieve a smooth transition of legacy data.
  • Train end users on the software in both remote and classroom-led sessions.
  • Be adept on the functionality and capabilities of the software, making enhancement requests to Product Development when appropriate.
  • Work with cross-functional team members including Project Managers, Data Conversion Specialists, Quality Assurance, Technical Support Analysts, and other Implementation Specialists.
  • Provide CIS subject matter expertise and consulting services for one or more project teams assigned to new customer implementations, upgrades, and quotes.
  • Participate in discovery sessions with clients to establish current-state and future-state processes and produce documentation as required.
  • Assist data conversion resources with data mapping and validation.
  • Draft and execute software testing based on best practices and customer requirements.
  • Document training materials and effectively train end users.
  • Serve as a customer advocate and facilitate communication with other internal departments.
  • Provide support during customer testing, production implementation, and beyond.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of CIS, Utility Industry, S&S enQuesta, JIRA, Confluence, and Clarizen experience is a plus.
  • Experience with electric rate configuration, implementation, and ongoing maintenance in a CIS billing system.
  • Experience with MDM systems with emphasis on billable read workflows.
  • Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills. Must be able to assess information to make autonomous conclusions quickly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen and interpret requirements, recommend solutions, and drive or participate in business process analysis sessions with customers.
  • Detail-oriented and conscientious about meeting expectations.
  • Positive, proactive, and action-oriented attitude and approach.
  • Ability to effectively manage a large number of tasks simultaneously, with excellent organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with, or dedication to learning, intermediate SQL commands/statements to aid in problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with standard UNIX/SSH and FTP commands for interface file manipulation.
  • Familiarity and experience working with AI such as Claude or Copilot.
