Job summary

POD Marketing is a Calgary-based full-service agency helping clients solve real business challenges. We are seeking an SEO Specialist to manage a portfolio of client accounts, develop and execute strategies, and drive measurable results while delivering an exceptional client experience.

You will work with WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMRush, collaborate with the SEO team, and help mentor newer members as we stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 2+ years of digital marketing experience with at least 1 year in SEO.
• 2+ years in customer service or client relationships.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Basic writing and editing skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to clients.
• SEO certification (e.g., HubSpot, Moz, SEMRush).
• Experience with WordPress and analytics tools listed above.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and execute SEO strategies.
• Oversee technical and content-focused SEO initiatives and analyze performance data.
• Serve as main client contact for deliverables and discussions.
• Generate blog topics and direct SEO content strategy.
• Conduct keyword research and optimization efforts.
• Extract actionable insights using analytics tools.
• Oversee technical SEO tasks like 301 redirects.
• Train new team members on best practices and protocols.
