Job summary

Twilio is hiring a Senior Security Risk Analyst to mature our risk management program. You will work with Product and Engineering teams to identify cyber risks and ensure regulatory compliance and industry best practices.

The role emphasizes automation, data analytics, and clear risk communication across the organization. The position is remote-based in Canada (Ontario/BC/Alberta) with occasional in-person meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Risk Management experience with security-centric frameworks (NIST RMF, COSO ERM, ISO 31000).
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration to set strategic direction.
• Experience designing and executing qualitative/quantitative risk analyses.
• Translate vulnerabilities and control gaps into actionable risk statements.
• Proven track record managing large-scale, regulated risk assessments and compliance programs.
• Collaborate with security and engineering teams to implement risk controls.
• Bias toward automation and tooling to scale impact.
• Experience leveraging AI to streamline risk operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to translate risk to leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Execute and improve daily operations of the One Twilio Risk Management program, including automated cyber risk operations.
• Maintain risk registers to track KRIs and ensure risks are identified, evaluated and mitigated.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clearly communicate risks and actions.
• Assess effectiveness of risk treatment strategies and recommend improvements.
• Deliver regular risk reports, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders.
• Analyze risk data to identify trends and develop predictive risk models.
• Use data analytics and risk modeling tools to assess impacts of risks.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and presentations to support risk decisions.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to address findings.
