Job summary

Upgrade is seeking a Senior QA Automation Developer to own end-to-end testing of new products. You will build automation for fast-paced feature delivery and work closely with product teams to ensure a seamless banking experience.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted testing, containerized environments, and production-grade deployments. Remote-friendly from Canada, with opportunities for growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience developing test automation in Java using Selenium or Playwright.
• Proficiency with IDEs (IntelliJ or Eclipse) for test scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and deployment with ArgoCD/Kubernetes.
• Experience with log aggregation and monitoring tools like SumoLogic or Grafana.
• Strong Agile experience and collaboration with product teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop test automation at the pace of feature development using automation frameworks.
• Leverage AI tools to create feature test plans and knowledge stores for testing.
• Define AI-enabled workflows to test new features using existing automation tests.
• Spin up disposable environments to deploy microservices and validate configurations.
• Patch services and deploy infrastructure changes through to production.
• Analyze logs and reproduce issues in non-prod environments for debugging.
• Collaborate with QA platform to create reusable test solutions.
