Job summary

Monks in Canada is seeking a Senior Producer (temp) to lead end-to-end creation of high‑impact creative content for a major tech client, in partnership with Monks. This hybrid role blends senior production, project management, and print production/traffic management, from briefing through proofing, delivery, and retrospective.

Qualifications

• 7+ years producing creative content, ideally with global brands.
• Experience managing budgets, timelines, and resources across multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of cross-channel creative production.
• Proven print production expertise — full lifecycle, materials and finishing techniques.
• Client-facing leadership and relationship building.
• Excellent organization and communication across time zones.
• Ability to travel ~2x per quarter domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple parallel projects, partners with designers, writers, business leaders, external agencies, and vendors as the key project driver.
• Own end-to-end process and mechanisms for content creation, defining prioritization, schedules, stages and gates, and stakeholders' roles.
• Support estimates, scoping, project setup, then manage budgets and timelines through execution.
• Partner with creative and production teams to develop and execute the production plan and solutions.
• Track production burn weekly, flag risks with proposed solutions.
• Identify scope changes and lead change orders or paths to savings.
• Maintain project documentation and provide clear project detail for stakeholders.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact and main liaison between brand managers, agencies, and internal teams.
• Translate customer needs into clear scopes and briefs, advise on resource requirements.
• Communicate project status and changes across teams, troubleshooting issues.
• Create, maintain and disseminate project information to senior management.
