Job summary

Argo Blockchain PLC, a publicly traded blockchain company focused on Bitcoin mining, seeks a Manager of FP&A to lead financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting across global entities. You will report to the CFO and work with executive leadership to shape strategic direction in a dynamic market.

The role emphasizes building robust financial models, partnering with department leaders, and delivering clear, actionable insights for the board and IR.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive FP&A experience; crypto mining exposure is a plus.
• CPA/CA designation would be an asset.
• Exceptional analytical and financial modeling abilities.
• Strong presentation skills for executive audiences.
• Expert level knowledge in Excel and executive presentations.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of comprehensive financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning across global entities.
• Partner with department leaders to develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term plans.
• Perform monthly and quarterly variance analyses against budget and forecast.
• Develop models to assess growth initiatives, including M&A, market expansion, and financing opportunities.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics and Finance to improve models and BI tools.
• Streamline monthly financial reporting and highlight trends and opportunities.
• Prepare and present financial reports for the Executive Team and leadership committees.
• Support IR with materials for RNS releases and investor presentations.
• Assist with month-end close tasks and reconciliations as needed.
• Champion continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.
