Job summary

HoneyBadger Bitcoin is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting, budgeting and compliance from our Vancouver office. You will own the month-end close, manage complex crypto-related accounting, and drive accurate financial statements for senior leadership.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with 7+ years in a senior role, strong analytical skills, and deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS. This on-site role offers a competitive package and growth within a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• CPA designation is required with knowledge of GAAP/IFRS.
• 7+ years of experience in a senior accounting role.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with cryptocurrency/fintech industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and supporting schedules.
• Prepare financial statements and management reporting packages.
• Maintain general ledger with complex transactions including crypto activity.
• Coordinate external audits and tax engagements.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll accounting and expense management.
