Job summary

Rightsline is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a 100% remote role based in Toronto, Ontario. You will lead core DevOps engineering, automate infrastructure, and architect scalable cloud platforms while mentoring the team and shaping CI/CD standards.

You will own containerized deployments on AWS ECS (Fargate), implement IaC with Terraform and Ansible, and build automation with Lambda and serverless tooling. Strong collaboration with Engineering and Product teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
• 3+ years hands-on with container orchestration (AWS ECS/Fargate or Docker).
• 2+ years Windows Server administration and basic server management.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage containerized applications on AWS ECS (Fargate) and serverless tech.
• Implement IaC (Terraform) and provisioning (Ansible, AWS Image Builder).
• Develop AWS Lambda functions or container-hosted services for automation and monitoring.
• Establish and improve CI/CD standards and deployment pipelines across software teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive automation to reduce toil.
