Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a DevOps Engineer in Canada to design and optimize Kubernetes infrastructure for large-scale experiments and performance benchmarks. You will build automated deployment workflows, strengthen observability with Grafana, Prometheus and Loki, and collaborate with researchers to ensure reliable, reproducible testing environments.

Qualifications

• Strong Kubernetes experience in production or research environments.
• Solid Linux, networking, and distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and deployment tools (Terraform/Ansible/Helm).
• Proficiency in Python or scripting.
• Excellent communication across technical teams.
• Interest in privacy, decentralization, open technology.
• Experience with observability tools (Grafana/Prometheus/Loki/VictoriaLogs).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters for large-scale experiments and benchmarks.
• Improve cluster scalability and resource utilization.
• Deploy, maintain, and optimize monitoring, logging, and observability solutions (Grafana/Prometheus/Loki).
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to streamline workflows.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot, profile, and tune distributed workloads for high-performance benchmarks.
• Identify and debug complex distributed systems issues with development teams.
• Translate benchmarking data into practical performance improvements.
