Job summary

NTT DATA North America seeks Senior Developers for a data modernization and archiving initiative in Toronto, focusing on migration of historical financial data from legacy systems to a secure archival solution. You'll leverage Power BI, Oracle PL/SQL, and ETL to deliver data-driven insights and scalable reporting.

You will work with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data quality, governance, and retention while designing models, mappings, and validation processes for long-term data

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development, data engineering, BI, or a related field.
• 5+ years in a Senior technical role (Senior Software Developer/Programmer).
• 2+ years with Oracle PL/SQL and ETL development.
• 2+ years creating Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Experience with data migration and archival projects.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, validate, and translate requirements into specs.
• Analyze legacy data and develop data models, mappings, and rules.
• Design, develop Oracle PL/SQL and ETL for migration/archival.
• Design, develop, and enhance Power BI dashboards and visuals.
• Develop BI and ad-hoc reports to support business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address data quality and governance.
• Support deployment, testing, and post‑deployment activities.
