Responsibilities

• Assess the existing IPT and AMP databases, including data structures, volumes, and dependencies.
• Define data retention, archive, and purge rules with IT, application support, database, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Design and develop an automated data purge and archive framework for IPT and AMP applications.
• Ensure archived information is retained and retrievable for business, operations, and audits.
• Implement logging, monitoring, error handling, reconciliation, and audit controls.
• Test the solution to ensure data integrity and no impact to active application functionality.
• Support performance testing and validate database performance improvements.
• Develop deployment, rollback, and operational support procedures.
• Deploy the solution into production and support stabilization after implementation.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to the internal support team.

Job Description:

Day to Day Job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)

• Assess the existing IPT and AMP databases, including data structures, volumes, and dependencies.
• Work with IT, application support, database, infrastructure, and business teams to define appropriate data retention, archive, and purge rules.
• Design and develop an automated data purge and archive framework for IPT and AMP applications.
• Ensure archived information is retained and can be retrieved when required for business, operational, and audit purposes.
• Implement appropriate logging, monitoring, error handling, reconciliation, and audit controls.
• Test the solution to ensure data integrity and confirm there is no impact to active application functionality.
• Support performance testing and validate expected database performance improvements.
• Develop deployment, rollback, and operational support procedures.
• Deploy the solution into production and support stabilization activities after implementation.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to the internal support team.

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required for this job with minimum years of experience on each)

The starting pay range for this role is [60 $ CAD range]. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
