Job summary

Relativity seeks a Counsel, Commercial Transactions to support the company’s commercial contracting function, focusing on SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, AI-enabled offerings, and data processing.

The role partners with Sales, Finance, Security, and other stakeholders to enable growth, manage legal risk, and develop scalable contracting processes. You will draft and negotiate complex agreements and advise on regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

4–6 years of experience in technology transactions, in-house or at a law firm.
Experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud services, data processing, and enterprise agreements.
Experience supporting complex commercial contracting environments.
Knowledge of software licensing models, information security, privacy, and IP.

Responsibilities

Lead negotiations for software, SaaS, cloud services, AI offerings, and strategic partnerships.
Advise internal stakeholders on commercial and operational legal issues with timely responses.
Engage with customers to ensure clear communication and successful outcomes.
Improve contracting processes and standard forms to boost efficiency.
Work with AI legal tech tools and MS Office; collaborate with Sales, Finance, Security.
