Job summary

NORR is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to oversee projects in our Public Studio from Ottawa, ensuring Contractors and Owners meet their contractual obligations. You will provide clarifications, technical interpretations, and review of financial progress to help realize the project end-to-end.

You will perform site visits to verify compliance, track shop drawings and change documents, coordinate with contractors and authorities, and lead progress meetings to resolve issues with

Qualifications

• Successful completion of related post-secondary education.
• Experience in strategic development, business development and client management.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with flexibility and resourcefulness.
• 10+ years of contract administration experience.
• Knowledge of architectural/engineering systems and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform site visits to ensure compliance with the contract and codes, and report progress.
• Track and review shop drawings, schedules, progress payments, and change documents.
• Coordinate with contractor, sub-consultants, and authorities on constructability issues.
• Prepare project change documentation, sketches and drawings.
• Attend and lead progress meetings to resolve issues with stakeholders.
• Ensure all close-out documents are submitted to the appropriate parties.
