Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join a fully remote team. You will bridge design concepts and technical realization, producing construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports for complex projects nationwide.
You will collaborate with architects, engineers and project managers, mentor junior staff, ensure code compliance, and support the construction phase with RFIs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or related field.
- 8+ years of experience as an Architectural Technician.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of building regulations, methods, and materials.
- Strong communication and collaboration in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed construction drawings, specifications, and schedules for architectural projects.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct technical reviews of designs and documents to identify problems.
- Provide technical support during construction, including RFIs and site queries.
- Mentor junior technicians and architectural assistants in best practices.
