Blacksmith Agency is expanding its marketing division, seeking a Search Engine Marketing Manager to own strategy, performance, and leadership across paid search, paid social, SEO and conversion optimization. This hybrid role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, involving client-facing leadership and collaboration with internal and external specialists.

You will join sales calls to validate scope, develop growth roadmaps, and ensure campaigns deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years in PPC, SEO or multi-channel full-funnel strategy.
• Experience running paid and organic channels concurrently.
• Proficiency with Google Ads, GA4 and Search Console.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for all PPC and SEO clients across multiple industries.
• Join sales calls to validate scope and pitch recommendations.
• Build 90 day, 6 month and annual growth roadmaps for clients.
• Own client performance across Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft and organic search.
• Audit campaigns, bidding structures, landing pages and CRO opportunities.
• Oversee technical SEO, on-page SEO and link building.
• Own KPI tracking and analytics accuracy.
• Provide weekly direction and coordinate with marketing project manager.
• Present monthly and quarterly performance summaries to clients.
