Job summary

Pathlion seeks a Scrum Master to support Alberta government digital transformation projects in a remote, full-time role. You will facilitate agile ceremonies, coach cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery of sprint goals across multiple projects.

You will partner with product owners and developers, remove impediments, and promote transparency through metrics and artifacts. Strong communication and facilitation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor cross-functional program review and product delivery teams in agile principles and procedures.
• Lead and facilitate key agile ceremonies, including planning sessions, stand-ups, sprint reviews, demos, retrospectives, and refinement.
• Coach the team on agile estimation, sprint commitments, external dependencies, and removing blockers.
• Act as the intermediary between the product owner and team to achieve sprint goals and commitments.
• Guide the product owner on reporting, release planning, and road-mapping.
• Maintain delivery metrics and report progress with sprint burndown/velocity charts and backlogs.
• Report progress to the Province as directed and support user research and usability testing.
