The Opportunity:
As our Remote Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving our growth by proactively reaching out to and establishing relationships with new wholesale accounts across Canada and the USA. You will introduce potential partners to the unique benefits of Alpaca Time’s insoles and socks, highlighting their quality, Canadian origin, and appeal to their specific customer base (outdoor enthusiasts, shoe and boot shoppers, farm and workwear customers, and more!).
Key Responsibilities:
● Conduct outbound calls and emails to identify and qualify potential wholesale accounts (outdoor stores, shoe and boot stores, farm supply stores, etc.).
● Present the features and benefits of Alpaca Time’s products in a compelling and professional manner.
● Build strong relationships with key decision-makers within prospective accounts.
● Effectively communicate our wholesale programs and pricing.
● Follow up on leads and diligently work to close sales.
● Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
● Collaborate with the Alpaca Time team to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall growth strategies.
● Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and market trends.
What You Bring:
● Proven experience in remote sales, preferably with wholesale accounts.
● Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
● A proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong drive to succeed.
● The ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly.
● Strong organizational and time management skills.
● Comfort and proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools.
● A passion for quality products and the benefits of natural fibres is a plus!
