Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Sr. Associate, Surgical Field Sales for Retina and Glaucoma (West) with a focus on driving sales targets across assigned accounts in the Western region. The role involves building strong customer relationships, providing product demonstrations, and delivering support to surgeons and high-volume users.

The position offers remote work within Canada and substantial travel as needed. You will engage in strategy execution, market development, and events to update customers on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; preferred B.Sc. or B.Com.
• 3–5 years pharmaceutical/medical/surgical sales experience, ophthalmic preferred.
• Clinical competence in retina/glaucoma treatments.
• Strong communication, presentation, and business acumen.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets across Retina and Glaucoma portfolios in the West territory.
• Promote Alcon products through various sales activities.
• Develop relationships with retina and glaucoma surgeons and key opinion leaders.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and execute a sales plan.
• Visit customers frequently and provide necessary support; conduct events and meetings.
